We are a community of Athletes, Parents and Coaches dedicated to developing the whole person and pushing each other to achieve more than ever thought possible. We serve the Chicagoland area, particularly the Northside of Chicago and suburbs teaching Olympic Sport Fencing to ages 7+ in Saber and Foil and competing at the Local, Regional, & National levels.
We offer group classes, individual lessons, and athletic training as well as special events such International Camps, Birthday Parties, Team building Workshops, and Fencing Demos. We also frequently teach outreach classes at nearby schools. Our Mission is to create a community of athletes that are empowered through their sport to recognize their successes and work hard to improve their weaknesses.
Through this they're able to achieve any goal they set their sights on.

Lincoln Square Fencing was founded in 2008 with a focus on Long-Term Athlete Development.
Inspired by the success of programs in Europe and Asia and dismayed by the number of injuries Clint saw at university programs, he designed a club that would teach people the sport and teach them to excel and achieve without pushing them to a breaking point.
The club initially served the Northside of Chicago, but as many of the Coaches also coach in the Great Lakes High School Conference, our reach has expanded to the North Shore suburbs.

Lincoln Square Fencing acknowledges and thanks the Canadian Fencing Federation's "Sport For Life" booklet, their Armband Program, Ranil Sonnadara, Ayach Bounachada and the many other coaches who were instrumental in authoring the program.
It has been used as a guiding principle since the club's inception.
Maestros Sonnadara & Bounachada have given the coaches of the club many hours of guidance and instruction in how the program is utilized and implemented.
