Welcome to Research Triangle Fencing, the premier fencing club in the RDU region. Our depth of experience is unmatched in the region; if you want to be coached by Olympians and championship-winning coaches, all in the context of a healthy, family-friendly atmosphere, come check us out. The only full-time fencing facility in Durham NC, Research Triangle Fencing was founded in 2014 by Jacek Huchwajda and Darius Wei, both assistant coaches of the Duke University Varsity Fencing Team.
Our mission is to share our love of the sport with local athletes of all ages; come join us and see what the fun is all about! Our athletes have been recruited and fenced for : Duke University, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, MIT, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Brandeis, and Cleveland State University. RTF has been represented on international teams at the Veteran-50, U-17 and U-20 age groups, and qualified athletes for multiple World Championships.
