W e advertise as the "Original" Hardwick Fence because Hank Hardwick started Hardwick Fence Company in Maine in 1965.
In 1980, Hank moved to our historic city and opened Hardwick's Of St Augustine.
After almost 10 years in business, he returned to New England.
Hank's oldest son, Chuck, continued the Hardwick name in St Augustine as Chuck Hardwick Fence & Gates.
After his unexpected passing, Chuck's business name was sold and that business closed in the late 2000's.
Donna Sparks, originally from Alabama, met Hank in the residential construction industry in East Tennessee.
In 1980, Hank moved to our historic city and opened Hardwick's Of St Augustine.
