In my opinion, Wood fencing is the best way to go. A well built wood fence has a natural look, can circumvent obstacles and there are many more options to chose from. After your wood fence has dried (from the treatment process) I suggest a good water sealer with a built in UV protectant and a fungicide. This will ad years to your fencing and is a cheaper option than stain.
You can expect your wood fencing to last about 20 years with occasional maintenance. I know of fencing I built 18 years ago that, although weathered, Still looks great. Wood Fencing has many options and picket sizes: 6' privacy fence with a dogear picket, arched top, scalloped top, Pointed picket or capped with a 2x4.
