Our mission is to provide the local community with quality instruction and training in the sport of fencing. We offer structured programs and expert coaching at our state of the art fencing facility, and welcome fencers of all ages, levels and expertise. It is our mission to create a safe and friendly environment where all the students feel welcome and are able to fulfill their goals.

We are serving the following communities: Los Altos, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Jose. 1) Full fencing uniform (including jacket, plastron/underarm protector, fencing pants, mask and glove) must be worn for all bouting.

Services

Students will be introduced to the sport of fencing--they will learn history of fencing, etiquette, basic footwork and blade work techniques, and the rules of the game.
A typical class structure will include warm up activities, developmental games, footwork, drills with a partner, and sparring.
All equipment is provided by SVF.
Please wear workout clothes with long pants (such as sweat pants) and athletic shoes.
The Introductory Class consists of three 55 minute classes held once a week for three consecutive weeks.
Students will be introduced to the sport of fencing--they will learn history of fencing, etiquette, basic footwork and blade work techniques, and the rules of the game.

Silicon Valley Fencing Center has a newly remodeled, state-of-the-art fencing facility featuring an all-new gymnasium-style sports floor and seven fencing strips with electronic scoring systems.

Sidarth Kumbla took the silver medal in the Y14 individual event, while Geoffrey Tourette won bronze and Michael Li finished 12th.
In the Y14 MF team event, Sidarth, Michael, Geoffrey, and Blake Broszus took second place, falling 45-44 in the final bout despite an impressive nine-touch comeback by Sidarth in the anchor bout.

Registration is limited to the first 20 fencers (age 12 or older, exceptions made at Coach Aleksei's discretion).
