The ON TARGET Fencing Team of Northern Ohio is a group of Foil, and Epee fencers from Erie, Lorain, Lake, Medina, Summit and Cuyahoga County. Registered with, and insured by the United States Fencing Association, it is an official fencing club. Head Coach Tom Nagy, a 45 year fencing veteran, is certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association as an instructor in foil.
Rich Hamper is Head Epee coach. Derek Wilkinson is Epee Coach. Arrange transportation to and from competitions for team members who cannot provide their own. Miscellaneous : Team Captains fencing in another weapon will be under the jurisdiction of the That Team's Captain.

All class fees for Bedford, Hudson, Kenston-Bainbridge, North Ridgeville, Solon, Mentor, Orange and Kent are paid at registration at their administrative offices.

If Home Schooled Students are experienced fencers (6 or more beginner lesson concluded) they are welcome to join our intermediate classes listed on this website, or join our Thursday evening or Saturday morning practice in North Ridgeville, where they will find good practice partners and friendly competition.

Derek Wilkinson started fencing at the age of 16 and fenced both foil and pe when he was at Kent State University.
He subsequently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
For several years afterward, he was involved with running the Kent Fencing club.
In 2018, he finished in the top ten in both a Portland, Oregon NAC and one held in Cincinnati, Ohio.
As a fencer, he's one of the two best peists to ever come out of On Target in its over two decades of existence.
He subsequently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
